KALEA INFORMATIQUE RS232 to RS485 converter with DB9 plugs and wired terminal block for RS 485 mounting

This device is capable of converting RS-232 to RS-485, extending the maximum distance to 1.2km! Passive, it requires no external power supply (it uses the RS-232 interface to power itself). Internal circuit controls direction of data flow. Interface compatible with EIA/TIA RS-232C and RS-485 standards. RS-232 side: DB9 female connector. RS-485 side: DB9 male connector with additional connection plate for wire-to-wire connections. Operating modes: Asynchronous / Half Duplex / Differential Transmission Transmission via twisted pair or shielded twisted pair (STP) cords. Transfer speeds from 300 to 115200 bps.
