Description

Amazon Allows a PCIe 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x card to be mounted on an E, A or E+A Key port. Be sure to check beforehand whether your motherboard's E/A key port can accept any peripheral or not (some older motherboards will only accept a wifi or bluetooth card on this type of port). This riser is for PCIe M Key M2 SSDs only (NVMe or AHCI). The internal part fits into the M2 E, A or E+A Key slot. It is in 2230 format and will therefore fit all formats (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, 22110), and features the E+A Key. The external part has a 16x PCIe connector. The two parts are connected by a 20cm flexible shielded cable. For PCIe Gen 3.0: does not affect M2 port performance or type (PCIe Gen 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 etc.)
