A comprehensive tester with a professional finish. Combines the advantages of a multimeter with those of a network tester. Multimeter : Measures AC and DC voltages and currents, resistances, diodes and continuity. Also enables temperature measurement. Tests continuity, mapping of RJ45 cables: For CAT5/6 cables, checks UTP/STP cords, indicates wire-by-wire discontinuity, maximum length tested 3km. Displays the wiring diagram on its screen. You'll see whether the cord is straight or crossed, for example, or whether one of the 8 wires of an RJ45 cord is cut or has a bad contact. Several scan modes available. Provides continuous fis resistance. Backlit LCD display. RJ45 cable length test: measures the length of a cable from end to end if the cable is functional, or from end to breakpoint if a fault has been detected. Choice of two modes: Digital and Analog.
