For mounting an mSATA SSD in place of an IDE 44 hard disk. Once the case is closed, the unit has exactly the same dimensions as a conventional 2.5" IDE disk, and features the usual slots for the "disk" to receive the PC's mounting screws. For all "mSATA" type SSDs with 3.3V - Power supply via port IDE 44 with 5V The installed SSD will be recognized as an ordinary 2.5" IDE hard disk, on which you can install an operating system.
