This card allows you to control four M.2 PCIe M Key (or B+M Key) SSDs. For all M.2 "M Key" PCIe SSDs (NVMe or AHCI) only, does not support M2 SATA SSDs. This controller card uses bandwidth sharing to operate whether or not your motherboard supports bifurcation mode. Advantage: a 4-port card for 3 to 4 times less than a switch card. Disadvantage: it will, on the other hand, be slower than a switch-type card (read and write speeds observed in our tests: 550MB/s). PCIe 3.0 x4 card (compatible with x4, x8, x16 ports). Support for M2 NVMe M Key drives. Compatible with M2 SSD sizes 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280. Hardware supplied. Plug and play, no drivers required. Compatible with Windows 10 and higher, Linux.
