Amazon Converts an IDE 40-pin desktop hard disk drive to SATA format. The adapter is mounted on the back of the IDE hard disk and physically transforms it into a SATA hard disk or writer, with the classic SATA 15+7 connector (15-pin power plug and 7-pin data plug).
