This station will allow access to the contents of SATA 2.5 or 3.5 drives from one PC, but also to clone (duplicate) one disk to another. Compatible with all Windows and Mac. Dock for SATA HDD, type 2.5" or 3.5". Supports all SATA standards: 1.0 1.5G, 2.0 3G, 3.0 6G etc.... without limit on hard disk capacity. USB3.01 5GB link PC side plug type "A". High quality external power supply supplied with 3A intensity, ensuring high power stability. Function 1, Access to Disk Data: Connected to a PC, this dock will allow access to SATA HDDs to read or modify the contents in the same way as for a simple USB stick (read/write with 5GB speed in Superspeed). Function 2, cloning from one HDD to another: Offline, i.e. not connected to a PC but only connected to its power supply, this dock will allow to clone the contents of one disk ("source") to the other ("target") identically. Press the "clone" button on the front, that's it! Indication of the progression of cloning by progression diodes (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
