It is compatible with 2.5" NVMe PCIe SSDs in U.2 format and provides direct conversion from the SFF-8639 interface to PCIe Oculink to take full advantage of NVMe performance. Entirely hardware-based, this adapter requires no drivers and works with all operating systems. It supports all 2.5" U.2 NVMe SSDs. For the U.2 SSD to function properly, a power supply must be connected via the SATA connector.
