For mounting an SD card in place of a CF card. The adapter's speed will depend on the SD card inserted. This adapter can also be used in Nikon or Canon cameras in particular. Converts SD (Secure Digital) memory to CF (Compact Flash) type I card (compatible with type I or II slots). The SD card fits completely into the adapter, which has the same dimensions as a CF card (36.4 x 42.8 x 5mm). Works with PDAs, cameras, printers etc... at 3.3V or 5V. Suitable for SD, SDHC, SDXC and also SD 3.0 cards (accepts Windows extFAT files) from 4 to 64GB. CF interface compatible with IDE mode / Memory mode / IO mode. Note: for users of Eye-Fi cards for Canon, you'll need to use the classic cards (less than 2GB) and not EyeFi x2. Eye-Fi cards will not work on the Canon 20D/30D/40D with this type of adapter.
