Amazon Adds 4 external USB 3.1 ports to the front panel of your desktop PC. This front panel must be connected to a USB 3.0 or 3.1 controller via the usual 19-pin connector. Check that your motherboard has such a connector, otherwise you won't be able to use this accessory. Note: this bay will replace a 3.5" bay, i.e. the floppy drive slot. Not to be confused with CD drive slots, which are 5.25". VIA VL820 controller. USB 3.1 A to USB 3.1 19-pin cable for connecting the front panel to an internal 19-pin socket. 15-pin SATA power supply (adapter cable for Molex/Sata power supply supplied) for connection to your main power supply. 2 Type A ports, 2 Type C ports.
