By rotating against each other, the extractors pull the dirt from your floor. Over time these brushes will wear out and then it is advisable to buy a set of new rubber brushes. The rubber brushes are easy to replace.In any case we recommend to regularly remove the brushes from the roomba and to clean them well. If you open the lid of the brush motor deck, you can easily take out the green brushes. On the sides of the brushes you will find a bearing. You can remove this and then easily knock the dirt out of the inside of the brushes.
