ORGANIC EARL GREEN — THE GREEN EARL GREY: Classic Earl Grey, but based on green tea instead of black — a rare variant with all bergamot notes, but significantly milder character. 85 g loose leaf, EU organic certified (control body DE-ÖKO-039), refined with real bergamot oil. Bergamot meets green tea: golden green infusion, citrus fresh bergamot note in the antrunk, soft green tea body, slightly minty note in the finish. If you know the classic black Earl Grey, this is the milder, lighter version with less tannin. ORGANIC & FSC PACKAGED: 85g loose leaf from controlled organic cultivation - no artificial flavours, no synthetic bergamot aroma, only real essential oil. Freshly packaged in FSC certified cardboard with organic plastic aroma protection film. Preparation like green tea: 1 tsp per 200 ml cup, pour over with 70-80 °C hot water (no boiling water! ), leave to steep for 2-3 minutes. This low temperature preserves the fine aroma - the bergamot harmonises particularly finely with the green tea. 85g makes around 30 cups.
