What taste does raw coffee have? Arabica/Robusta green coffee has a strong, characteristic and slightly earthy taste. May leave a strong bitter aftertaste on the tongue. Special flavour – herbal, earthy and fruity acidic: don't expect the typical scent and taste of roasted coffee. Green coffee tastes significantly milder in the roasted aroma, at the same time characteristically herbal, slightly earthy and, depending on preparation, also tart or acidic. Tastefully it reminds some connoisseurs of a strong herbal tea. Natural raw coffee: due to the lack of roasting process, components are retained, which are changed during roasting. This also includes chlorogenic acid naturally found in green coffee beans. Our green coffee consists exclusively of ground green coffee beans - without sugar, flavours or other additives. Easy to prepare – pour hot and let it brew: for a cup approx. Pour 10g green coffee with 200ml hot water at about 90-95°C. Leave to steep covered for 5-10 minutes and then strain through a fine sieve. The amount and brewing time can be adjusted according to the desired taste intensity. GREEN ESSENCE Tip – with ginger, honey or cinnon: the characteristic taste can be wonderfully combined with aromatic ingredients. Try green coffee with fresh or ground ginger, some honey and a splash of lemon, or with a pinch of cinnamon. This creates a very own spicy coffee enjoyment.
