Soft round-head light: The Godox Optical System shapes the 55Ws output into even illumination; the V1 mid S is compatible with Sony for TTL photography. Fast, precise control: TTL, Manual and Multi, HSS up to 1/8000s, 24–105mm zoom, 1/600–1/20000s duration and 0–330°/-7–120° head movement. With compatible Sony global-shutter cameras it supports sync up to 1/80000s, including radio wireless global-shutter sync. Wireless control: Built-in 2.4G X system works as sender or receiver across about 70m, with 32 channels, ID OFF/01–99 and five receiver groups. The USB-C port on the VB22 battery is for charging via a USB charger or power bank; the separate USB-C port on the flash is only for firmware updates and does not charge the battery. For updates, use a USB-C cable that supports data transfer with the Godox G3 firmware upgrade software.
