Fully manual flash: The iM30 does not provide TTL, so match the output manually to aperture, ISO and shooting distance. Its fixed, forward-facing head cannot tilt or swivel for bounce lighting, but delivers direct fill light with greater reach and a more natural result than many built-in flashes. GN15 with 7 power levels: Use the dial to select 1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or Full. The guide number is approximately 15 at ISO 100 in metres; full-power recycle time is approximately 3.6 seconds, with approximately 230 full-power flashes available when rechargeable batteries are used. S1/S2 optical control: S1 operates as an optical slave with a manual main flash. S2 ignores one TTL pre-flash and responds to the main exposure flash. Synchronise through the single-contact hot shoe or 2.5 mm sync port; the iM30 itself remains fully manual. Compact, broad compatibility: Measuring approximately 61 × 52 × 45 mm and weighing approximately 78 g net without batteries, the flash packs easily for travel. It suits compatible Ricoh, Canon, Sony, Nikon, Pentax, Panasonic, Olympus and Leica models, including RICOH GR III and RICOH GR IIIx. Pancake and short lenses are preferable; larger or longer lenses may cast a shadow in the image. Compatibility, power and set: Not compatible with Sony ZV-1F, A9III, A99, A77 and A350; Canon EOS Rebel SL3, 250D, T7, 1500D, 2000D, T100, 3000D, 4000D, 200DII and R50; or Fuji X-A3, X100F and X100T.
