Evergreen is a strategic game in which the goal is to develop a lush ecosystem. You will plant shoots, grow trees and place other natural elements on your planet, trying to make it the greenest and most fertile of all! Each player has a plank with his planet zoned (biomes) on which he will have to plant shoots to grow them into trees, first small and then large. The game develops over four seasons, each with a number of rounds that decreases. Each round begins with a draft phase, where players choose a biome card indicating the zone in which to perform the plant and/or grow action in the next step. In addition, the paper shows a power to apply anywhere on the planet that provides additional opportunities for growth or other improvements. Biome cards not chosen by players are moved to the fertility zone and are equally important: they determine the fertility of each biome for the final score, guiding the choice of where it is most beneficial to grow larger trees.
