Prepared based on Brovada PDO: the brovada is typical of Friuli Venezia Giulia (IT). These are turnips that are preserved in marc, to which the bay leaf is added to give the typical flavor to the product. PDO branded product since 2011. The brovada is ideal as a side dish for stewed or boiled meats, sausages (such as cotechino) or also great to use as a base for soups. Pink colour with a strong flavour given by maceration of the product in the pomace. Brovada PDO Tissi gastronomic preparation can also be eaten raw, or just scalded in a pan, according to your taste.
