Real bourbon vanilla is also referred to as the queen of spices or truffles of the tropics. For the production of fine creams, drinks, or doughs, only the vanilla paste is used. Tip: The pod can be used later to flavour sugar or liquids. If you want to flavour a hot liquid, cut the pod into approx. 4 cm long pieces, slit them open and then add the pieces. Simply remove after cooking. The characteristic black dots in the prepared dishes indicate that real bourbon vanilla has been used.
