We are often asked: “What is the coarseness of the clay?” With this clay mitt, Farécla has chosen to let go of that and 'just' develop a very good clay mitt. When to use this clay mitt? Good preparation is half the battle, especially when cleaning your car. By using the clay glove you prevent new scratches in the paint while brushing away the smallest dirt. Run your hand over the cleaned surface. If the surface feels 'rough' or 'not smooth', it is highly recommended to use the clay mitt. Directions for use  Before using the clay mitt, it is important to first wash the surface thoroughly with a shampoo such as the Farécla G3 Pro Shampoo. After this, spray the surface so that the coarsest dirt is removed. Then follow these instructions: Wet the clay mitt (possibly with a cleaner). Lightly spray the area to be cleaned and the mitt with the cleaner. Wipe over the surface with the clay side of the mitt in short straight movements. Rub without pressure, let the mitt slide over the paint. Wipe clean with the cloth side of the mitt, until surface is smooth. You know this by feeling. Run your hand over the surface and feel if it is smooth. After use, rinse off accumulated contaminants on the clay side and allow to dry. Always keep the clay mitt lubricated. This lubricant allows the clay mitt to glide over the paint without the risk of damage. It is best used in combination with cleaner. You can also use Farécla G3 Pro Detailer as a lubricant.
