This ER14250 (1/2 AA) battery from EVE has a voltage of 3.6V, a capacity of 1,200 mAh and has a Li-SOCl2 composition.Batteries with a Li-SOCl2 (lithium-thionyl chloride) composition have a very high energy density and a very low rate of self-discharge. In addition, this type of battery can be used at extreme temperatures, up to -60ºC and 85ºC. Due to these properties, Li-SOCl2 batteries are mainly used in devices that require little energy for a long time, such as smoke detectors, alarm systems, measuring equipment and backup systems.
