The UG-BMW10T component system integrates perfectly into the vehicle and is compatible with BMW and MINI models where the bass-midrange driver is screwed against the door panel from the rear (T type, see picture compatibility list). The sealing surface is therefore located on the front of the basket rim. The high-quality, fibreglass-reinforced polyamide basket of the bass-midrange is a perfect fit – including the connection sockets. The drive unit has been completely revised: the extremely flat neodymium magnet facilitates retrofitting and allows plug & play installation even in the confined door installation spaces of current vehicle models. Installation is therefore very easy, without additional adapter rings or plugs, of course, while maintaining the original design. The sound of the 2-way speaker system is specially optimised for vehicle acoustics. The 10 cm / 4" woofer has a rib-reinforced paper cone with aluminium dustcap and impresses with its warm, nuanced and clear sound as well as perfect voice reproduction. The powerful neodymium magnet provides the necessary power. The magnet has a large core bore that supports cooling and increases the load capacity. A plug & play 25 mm fabric dome with neodymium drive is used as a tweeter, which can playfully reproduce even the finest details – ultra precise and silky. The specially tuned, high-quality cable crossover for the tweeter ensures a differentiated, tonally balanced sound. The component system UG-BMW10T is made in Germany.
