The next evolutionary level, the powerhouse for more bass in the vehicle – without much effort, without losing space, hidden in the spare wheel well and 100% retrofittable: ETON's flat active subwoofer RES 10 AR replaces the 1000x sold and proven RES 10 A – fundamentally revised in all points. The new, powerful amplifier module with fabulous 540 W RMS allows a drastic output increase of up to 10 dB at 40 Hz compared to its predecessor. The RES 10 AR is equipped with the potent 25 cm (10 inch) long-stroke driver ETON PW 10 FLAT, a woofer with extremely strong magnetic magnets, stiff, pressed paper-foam paper sandwich membrane and heavy-duty 2 x 2 Ω double voice coil. The woofer chassis is powered by the integrated Class D amplifier module AM500 powerfully and controlled. The result: pure bass and bass violence for absolutely deep, lightning-fast punches from nothing – ideal for deep bass orgiums! The RES 10 AR is therefore probably one of the strongest active subs on the market - high quality, engineered in Germany. The RES 10 AR has a new, solid, additionally stiffened MDF wood bass flex housing with a new surface coating. And that's not all: the RES 10 AR has practical neck handles, a resonance-reducing, integrated anti-slip / anti-drone mat and a highly stable metal cover grid with ETON pattern. The active bass box is equipped with a 12 dB/Oct. Low pass filter (40 - 125 Hz) and 12 dB/Oct. Subsonic filter (25 Hz). In addition to an RCA input (low level input), there is a high level input with auto turn on function for connecting to factory radios without REM output. The RES 10 AR offers many adjustment options: gain, bass boost, phaseshift as well as the control of the input impedance of the high level signal (input load, 10/150/600 Ω) and the high level input voltage (15/40 V). The subwoofer can be firmly screwed into the spare wheel recess with the included mounting mandrel. This allows a hidden installation without losing space and full utilisation of the boot.
