The DIGITUS EV charging cable is compatible with all electric cars (EVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) that have a CCS or Type 2 charging port and are charged with AC power. The three-phase charging cables for max. 22kW / 32A are compatible with all popular AC charging stations - 10m long cables are suitable for changing and difficult to reach charging stations For outdoor charging, the charging cable complies with IP55 protection class (protected from water jets), thus allowing a secure connection between the charging station and the charging socket (charging input). Coiled cables automatically contract and stay clean longer than straight car charging cables, as they do not drop to the ground, or only partially do so when charging the car battery. Thanks to the IEC Type-2 plug and socket (EU standard IEC 62196-2), the Mode 3 cable can be used in almost all charging stations and wallboxes in Europe (throughout the EU) for charging electric cars and other electric vehicles.
