Description

Amazon Splice boxes are permanently installed in the network cabinet to bundle the fiber optic cables converging there - comparable to a patch panel for copper laying cables. In the network cabinet, the signal of the fiber optic cable can be patched to switch, media converter, router, modem, server, SFP modules or FTTH / FTTB home input boxes using patch cables. The fiber pigtails used are colored according to DIN IEC 60304 and inserted into the splice cassette(s). The housing material used is 1 mm thick sheet steel painted or powder-coated in grey (RAL 7035). The splice box is already pre-fitted - an equipped splice cassette and corresponding couplings for the front panel are already installed.
