FAILTE is Irish Gaelic for Welcome! Make your own concrete garden stones or plaques with this REUSABLE mould. Your finished casts will measure appox. 19cm x 11.5cm and they will be approx. 1.8cm deep. The mould is made from thick semi-rigid ABS plastic which can be used over and over again. Simply wash in warm soapy water (NOT dishwasher proof!) after each use and it will last for years. Your casts will pop out of the mould easily, but if you like you could rub a TINY amount of normal kitchen vegetable oil on the inside of the mould before pouring in your concrete mix to facilitate demoulding. If you're new to concrete casting, some common mixes you could try are: 4 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement, OR 2 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement, OR 3 parts mixed gravel and sand to 1 part cement. Make garden stones or plaques for yourself or to sell on. These are really popular at markets or car boots.
