Cookinglife With the Cosy & Trendy Fontestic casserole in Black you serve stews, ragouts and roasts that have had time to simmer gently. The pan is made of cast iron with an enamelled interior: it heats evenly, retains heat for a long time and helps prevent burning. With a diameter of 28 cm and a capacity of 6.8 litres, you can easily cook for 6 people, or make an extra portion for the freezer straight away. Lid with droplets The inside of the lid features small studs (droplets). The cooking moisture condenses on them and drips evenly back onto your dish, so meat and vegetables stay nice and juicy. From hob to oven to table You can use the Fontestic on gas, electric, ceramic, halogen and induction hobs, on the barbecue and in the oven up to 200 °C. Sear your meat on the hob first, then let the dish finish cooking in the oven. The sturdy handles make it easy to carry the pan from the hob to the table, where its sleek black finish suits any table. Care Wash the pan by hand with hot water and a soft sponge or brush; it is not dishwasher safe. Dry it thoroughly straight away and do not use steel wool or harsh cleaning agents. Cast iron is heavy and gets hot: lift the pan with both hands and use oven gloves. The Fontestic casserole is available in several colours and sizes.
