This module is only a level conversion module and does not participate in conversion analysis such as software protocols. When the module is connected to the computer's COM port, the computer can receive data but cannot communicate with your slave device as the host. The computer's COM port cannot generate the 13-bit start bit in the LIN protocol, but it can be connected to a development board such as a microcontroller.
