Chemical blow test: the pack contains 10 alcohol tests for single use to give an indicative check of the alcohol in your breath, with no batteries, no electronics and no app. Each test is individually sealed with a hygienic mouthpiece and measures about 4.2 x 25.4 cm, so it fits in the glove box, a bag or a pocket. The sealed pack keeps each test protected until the moment of use. Crystals that change colour: the glass tube holds white crystals that change colour on contact with alcohol vapour. Compare the coloured part with the printed scale to estimate the approximate level. The result shows after 2 to 5 minutes and should be read no later than 5 minutes after blowing. No device is needed to read it: good light is enough to see the colour clearly. Levels 0.2 0.5 0.8 per mille: the colour scale has four reading levels, from 0.0 to 0.2, 0.5 and 0.8 per mille, the most common limits for drivers in Europe. You can see straight away whether alcohol is absent or which band the level falls in, before getting behind the wheel. The scale is printed on the test, so there is no need to look up a chart elsewhere. How to use it: wait at least 20 minutes after your last alcoholic drink. Blow hard into the tube for about 10 seconds and repeat twice without stopping, then wait 2 to 5 minutes and compare the colour with the scale. Each test is used only once. The instructions in the pack explain every step in a simple way. Private and indicative use: the result is for guidance only, has no legal value and does not replace an approved breathalyser device; if in doubt, do not drive. If the tube breaks, avoid contact with skin and eyes and rinse with water. Do not swallow, keep out of reach of children, not a toy. If the result is close to a level, it is better to wait and repeat later with a new test. For car, travel and parties: handy in the car, on the motorbike, when travelling abroad, at dinners, parties and weddings. Store in a dry place away from sunlight and heat sources. After use, the carton goes in paper recycling, the bag in plastics and the glass tube in general waste. With 10 alcohol tests in the box you can keep some in the car and some at home, or share them with friends.
