The Nocciolini di Chivasso are small candies made from meringue and Piedmontese PGI hazelnuts, packed in the typical and recognizable pink paper. These sweets were already produced at the beginning of the 19th century and were called Nuasèt, from the French word hazelnut, hazelnut. The recipe consists of only three ingredients, sugar, Piedmont hazelnuts IGP and egg white, but its difficulty lies in the wisdom of the mixture and the time it takes to make it. Pasticceria Bonfante has transformed Chivasso into a historic meeting place, where historic cafes are the place to taste these Piedmontese delights.
