The non-metallic composite toe cap protects against impact from falling objects and from pressure and provides protection of 200 joules - equivalent to a drop of 20 kg from 1 m height or a weight of 1.5 t that loads on the toe area. Composite midsole: a thin but sturdy plate made of lightweight, non-metallic material that extends the entire length of the sole and protects against objects that penetrate the foot from below and pierce it, such as such as nails, tacks, broken glass, etc., which could otherwise cause serious injury. Waterproof leather upper: repels water and keeps your feet dry when exposed to wet conditions for a short time. Polyurethane / PU sole with double density that is resistant to fuel oil, so it does not wear, discolour or retain grease that would otherwise lead to slipping and tripping. Other features include: energy absorbing heel that reduces foot fatigue, anti-static sole that minimises the build-up of electrostatic charges, non-slip sole. SIZING Blackrock safety shoes are designed with a wide fit so thick boot socks can be worn. Please consider this when choosing your size. You can choose a smaller size if you wear them with normal socks.
