Built for work: the steel toe cap protects against impact from falling objects and from pressure. It offers protection of 200 joules - equivalent to a drop of 20 kg from a height of 1 m or a weight of 1.5 tonnes resting on the toe area. Ideal for: clean room environments indoors where a high standard of hygiene is important, e.g. in food preparation, in medicine and pharmacy Durability: machine washable at 40°C to ensure compliance with hygiene standards in clinics and the food industry. Also features a self-cleaning, non-slip dual density PU/PU sole that is resistant to fuel oil, so it won't decompose, stain or lock in grease that would otherwise lead to slips and tripping. Safety features: other features include the energy-absorbing heel that reduces foot fatigue, the anti-static sole that minimises the build-up of electrostatic charges, and the non-slip sole.
