The Black Cat Mega Offset Hook is the perfect hook for throwing rubber fish in herb and obstacle-rich waters with the spinning rod and retrieving the bait through the inlying hook. An extra-long spiral holder (Shad Screw) has been mounted on the hook eye which ensures a secure hold of large and heavy rubber baits and prevents the bait from tearing out. The Mega Offset Hook comes standard in a size (12/0) and three weights: 10g, 15g and 20g. The positioning of the lead on the hook shank acts like a keel and gives the bait a stable running behaviour and with a spinstop the bait does not simply fall plump head to the bottom, but slowly steaming down the catfish right in front of the mouth.
