BENVOLIO 1938 organic linseed oil is obtained by pressing seeds from controlled organic cultivation. Origin Flax is grown in many parts of the world and its use ranges from food to cosmetics. It is an annual plant that produces yellow to reddish-brown seeds, from which linseed oil is extracted. The first to recognize its properties were the Egyptians, who considered it a very valuable asset. Advantages: this oil is naturally rich in essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially omega-3 (alpha-linolenic acid), which contribute to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 2 g alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). One tablespoon (13 ml) organic linseed oil Benvolio 1938 contains approx. 5g alpha-linolenic acid. Antioxidant extracts: the formula is enriched with organic antioxidant extracts of sage, laurel and rosemary, which help maintain sensory and quality properties over time. Taste, texture and use: it has a delicate taste with a touch of rosemary, sage and laurel and is ideal for being eaten raw. It can be used for serving salads or light dishes such as fish carpaccio. In the morning, it tastes great in yoghurt or smoothies.
