The arbors can be used with carbide hole saws, but the carbide-tipped pilot drill bit (3834-DRL-CT) is recommended for cutting abrasive materials. The arbors can be used with multi-construction hole saws, but the drill bit must be replaced with a 3834-DRL-L. The high-speed steel pilot drill is included with all holders for use in metal and wood applications.
