Description

Amazon 1¼ inch Baader IR pass filter, HWB 685 nm with 1¼ inch screw thread. With the help of these filters, the best Mars shots are created worldwide when using webcams. The trick: in addition to the colour image, you make an exposure for the "LUMINANCE channel", but not - as usual - with the spectral bandwidth of 400 - 700 nm, but shifted deep into the red - starting at 670 nm. The effect: in the long-wave spectral range, the atmospheric air unrest has a much lower effect on image sharpness! Dark structures on Mars, Jupiter but also on the moon and sun are thus much sharper. Box contents: Baader 1¼ inch IR pass filter
