In HUTAN (from Indonesian "forest"), all players have a rainforest area where they can plant shoots and flowers that, over time, turn into impressive trees. When a habitat is created, an iconic forest animal such as the orangutan or Sumatran tiger arrives. HUTAN is played in nine rounds with two rounds per player for each round. On your turn, you take a flower card from the common market and place it in your own rainforest. If you place a flower over a matching flower, it will grow a tree. When an area is complete with trees, the last tree is replaced by an animal.
