Every pin tip is finished and rounded: the reason slickers get a bad reputation is scratched skin. Each pin here is finished specifically to prevent that on thin or sensitive skin. For the coats that mat fastest: doodles, Bearded Collies, Old English Sheepdogs, Newfoundlands, Samoyeds and any dense double coat that a normal brush glides over the top of. Size l for real coverage: a large head so a big dog does not take an hour. The Nature Collection line, with a sustainable bamboo handle. Use it with a conditioner: never brush a dry, matted coat.
