Handy demonstration device to illustrate the Lenz's rule and the induction of eddy currents. Simple illustration of Lenz's rule by observing different speeds of magnets and steel cylinders by the student/student through a copper tube, although the samples have identical weight. The student/student learns that the observed, slower falling speed of the magnet can be explained by the fact that by induction of eddy currents in the copper tube, a magnetic field is generated that counteracts the falling motion of the magnet. Length: approx. 320 mm. Diameter: approx. 15mm Includes 2 plastic caps for using the pipe as a container.
