Mistletoe Mistletoe cut. Scientific name: Viscum album. The mistletoe herb has always been known as a medicinal plant and was previously used for medicinal purposes by Hildegard von Bingenwird, Hippocrates or Sebastian Kneip. Nowadays, the herb is most often used as a single tea. Preparation as a tea: place 1-2 teaspoons per cup with cold water and leave to infuse for 10 to 12 hours. Warm up the tea slightly before drinking and strain the mistletoe with a tea strainer. You can sweeten the tea with honey or sugar to taste.
